A Pakistani industrialist and ardent philanthropist, Hussain Dawood currently chairs the boards of Dawood Hercules Corporation, the group’s holding company; Engro Corporation, a diversified conglomerate; Hub Power Company, an independent power producer; Karachi Education Initiative, which funds the graduate management school Karachi School of Business & Leadership, and The Dawood Foundation, with its legacy of establishing various education institutions across the country.

His social responsibilities include Memberships of the World Economic Forum and its Global Agenda Councils of Anti-Corruption and Education. He was conferred the award “Ufficiale Ordine Al merito della Repubblica Italiana” by the Republic of Italy. Hussain Dawood holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA, and is a graduate in Metallurgy from Sheffield University, UK.

Kulsum Dawood1

Kulsum Dawood is a Trustee on the Board of Dawood Foundation, a philanthropic organization of The Dawood Group, Mrs Dawood is also a Trustee of the Family Welfare Co-operative Society, an organization geared for the betterment of under-privileged Pakistani young women and member of DIL (Developments in Literacy – Karachi Chapter) to work for the development in  literacy in Pakistan.

Mrs Dawood takes her social and civic responsibilities seriously. She has supported various charities in healthcare, education and economic development. She is a member of SOS, a charity known for the care of orphans, as well as a Depilex Smile Again Foundation, an NGO for the treatment and rehabilitation of burn victims. She supports other charitable organizations such as CARE (Cooperation for Advancement, Rehabilitation & Education), The Lahore Hospital Welfare Society, The Pakistan Society for the Welfare of Mentally Retarded Children and All Pakistan Women’s Association. Mrs Dawood has also served as the President of Women’s Voluntary Service and the Punjab Women’s Swimming Association (2000-2005).

She has attended Family Business courses from the world’s leading Business Schools, The International Institute for Management Development (IMD), in Switzerland in 2004 and 2005 and the Institut Europeen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in 2007. She regularly attends the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in Davos.

He is a Trustee of The Dawood Foundation.

Mr. Shahzada is an M.Sc. in Global Textile Marketing from Philadelphia University, USA, an LLB from Buckingham University, UK and a Certified Director of Corporate Governance from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He has been selected as a Young Global Leader 2012 by the World Economic Forum.

abdul-samad-dawood1Mr. Samad Dawood is a graduate in Economics from University College London, UK and a Certified Director of Corporate Governance from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.

He serves as Director on the Boards of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited, DH Fertilizers Limited, The Hub Power Company Limited, Engro Foods Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Tenaga Generasi Limited.
Mr. Samad is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization, Pakistan Chapter.

Sabrina-Dawood1

Sabrina Dawood is spearheading The Dawood Foundation as CEO and directly managing Dawood Public School as one of the Trustees. She is also serving as a Director on the Boards of Dawood Hercules Corporation and Engro Foods Limited. Sabrina Dawood is also a member of Board of Governors of National Management Foundation (NMF) of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

Sabrina Dawood is a philanthropist with an aim to promote The Dawood Foundation’s mission to provide Pakistan with better education and health facilities. Her experience in marketing, corporate communications, administration and CSR for various companies of the Dawood Hercules Group, including Dawood Hercules Corporation and Dawood Lawrencepur Limited, gives her an edge to lead numerous philanthropic activities.

Sabrina holds an MSc in Medical Anthropology from University College London and a BA from London School of Economics in Anthropology & Law.
